Divorce is stressful enough on its own, especially when children are involved. And it doesn't end when the divorce is finalized, as ongoing issues such as alimony, child support, or visitation must be managed. Keeping track of child support payments and visitation logistics is a challenge all on its own. The good news is that there are multiple apps out there that can help you, both free and paid. Here are three apps that can assist with child support and visitation logistics, as well as one specifically for financials.
AppClose
AppClose offers coparents access to many beneficial features, including a shared calendar, chat conversations that cannot be deleted or altered, documented audio and video calls, and expense tracking. AppClose is a free service with no subscription fees.
Our Family Wizard
OurFamilyWizard is approved by most courts throughout the country. Features include a shared calendar, journal, an info bank to store documents, a message board (with no ability to delete or edit messages), an expense log, and the ability to document reimbursement payments. This app is not specific to child support.
2Houses
2Houses was created in 2011 by someone who'd experienced separation. The platform offers one single pricing plan: $12.50/month billed annually. It's available to anyone involved in the family. This means access is available for parents, children, third parties, mediators, etc. Many of the app's features are similar to other apps on the market.
Financial Only
Although many apps are multi-functional, some solely track child support and expenses. One example is SupportPay.
SupportPay
SupportPay has three price points for users. There's a free version, a Single User Premium version billed annually for $8.33/month, and a Family Premium version for $12.49/month. The Premium version also includes access to WeParent. Basic functionality is free to use, including tracking expenses, making payments, and storing documents. Take a closer look at the features here.
